How to create your own text paths, using the marquee and pen tool. For some reason the audio didn't quite correlate with the video. So the audio is a little off. If you are patient with me, this video will be very useful to all you digital scrapbookers. enjoy!

Digital Scrapbooking lessons #1 and #2

I've decided to make some VERY amature digital scrapbooking instruction videos. This is for beginners and like I said, very amaturish! Hopefully those of you who watch don't mind. Once or twice a week I will be posting digital scrapbooking lessons. Including some photo editing effects. I will be using Adobe Photoshop CS3, but it should be similar with any photoshop editer. Adobe Photoshop elements 6, can be used to do similar things, but not as much of the photo editing effects. Many educational videos can be found on youtube. just type in the program you are using and there should be tutorials.

To print your digital scrapbook pages scrapping simply will do 12x12 for 1.99 and they are high quality prints. The shipping costs are fairly inexpensive as well.

I love digital scrapbooking. Not only is there less mess (way less) but instead of printing out all your pics. cutting them, and maybe not having the right sizes so having to print more, you can adjust the sizes, put on a scrapbook page, add elements then print. easy. (and it does get easier!) So here we go, our first 2 lessons, the 2nd lesson had to be split into 3 for loading on youtube. Enjoy! happy learning!

It's been a while...

Just a few pics. I havent posted any for a while, and I just realized that the last photos I posted were from last august! crazy how time flies. Lots has been going on. now that the weather is um, better? the boys have been motorbiking. The girls love it too. Naomi likes to try to steer the 4-wheeler, but she's not quite big enough. No matter how girly girls are they still like some adventure!
Pretty hair, aunt Sarah babysat and braided naomi and katlin's hair, when they woke up we took it out. They loved it! Thanks, Sarah.

Waiting for class to starts and Katlin had to go with me, we walked around the river.
Great-Grandma Bird knitted this hat, and we put a flower on it, Flower Power!

Very Rare! Hug from Conner to Naomi. (never ever happens!) even though it a blurry phone pic. I had to include this rare occasion.

Bamboo Fun!

I got a Bamboo Fun pen tablet for my birthday in march, and I'm just now having time to play with it. Now I'm not an amazing artist like my bro (his website: raycebird.com). But I am having a lot of fun with it, mostly editing pics and drawing on adobe illustrator (which I love). So far I've made my own font, (kinda sloppy :) ) and made a beach sunset in illustrator.

Still blogging

I am planning on updating my blog soon, (yes I still have one) I will be keeping up on this better, so visit it when you can! see you soon.-Bree

About Me

My photo
I’m a small town girl… Born and raised. I met my husband, Kody, at his brother's mission farewell, although he grew up 2 blocks from my house, we never met until then. He was fresh off his mission, and we were married 5 months later, on August 14, 1999. We still live in a small town, and now have 3 children. Conner; 8, Naomi; 5, and Katlin; 3. I am going to school (after 10 years!! ugh!!) and I work as a waitress part-time. We are busy, but enjoy having fun together!!!
